Jon Stewart Gives His Post-Retirement Take On The Media, Trump, Clinton And Congress
Jon Stewart Gives His Post-Retirement Take On The Media, Trump, Clinton And Congress Comedian Jon Stewart made a rare public appearance on Tuesday at the University of Chicago, where he was interviewed by David Axelrod, the director of the university's institute of politics, and a former senior advisor and chief strategist to President Obama. The interview for Axelrod's podcast, the Axe Files, is an hour of Stewart's thoughts on the media, the election, the candidates and the workings in Washington. The podcast appeases those who have sorely missed his comedy and commentary this election cycle. The first headlines to emerge were about him calling Trump a "man baby," though it was one of the kinder names Stewart had for Trump. But Stewart's true vitriol was reserved for Congress, the media and the presidential candidates- he spared no one.
