8 Indisputable Costs for Staying Relevant In the 2014 AARP ad called “I’ve Still Got It,” an attractively put together 50+ year old woman is rocking a mini skirt and heels confidently circulating an office. The much younger staff greets her with wide smiles presenting materials for her approval. She is svelte, polished, happy and attractive. It’s a very aspirational 30 seconds and a clear indication that the trend for Boomers and Gen Y’s wanting to stay active, involved and engaged is real. We can all be like the AARP poster girl, but it doesn't come without a price tag.
