How Susan Petersen Of Freshly Picked Created A Multi-Million Dollar Business From Her Kitchen Table
How Susan Petersen Of Freshly Picked Created A Multi-Million Dollar Business From Her Kitchen Table Nine years ago, Susan Petersen, a stay-at-home mom living in Utah, came up with a business idea out of an entrepreneurial desire that had always been quietly brewing and out of pure necessity for her two small children. That idea, Freshly Picked, is now a multi-million dollar company with 60% of it’s sales volume coming through it’s own website, in addition to being sold at major national retailers including Nordstrom. The baby shoe company features fringed leather moccasins and and shoes to cover babies and toddlers growing feet. Priced from $45 to $60, the shoes come in a rainbow of colors and textures made “for every step.” After high demand for more from the company, Freshly Picked has recently expanded into baby accessories with eyes set on other categories to come.
