CDC: Way Too Many Schools Start Way Too Friggin' Early
CDC: Way Too Many Schools Start Way Too Friggin' Early In just under two weeks, my oldest son starts kindergarten. I’m terrified. It’s not the new school, or his new classmates or their parents, or some rigorous curriculum with homework, or “my little boy growing up” or any of that which worries me. It’s that his school day will now start at 7:39. That’s 7:39 A.M. 7:39 in the morning. As in, around four or so hours after my normal bedtime. (I have no idea why it’s not 7:40, but the extra minute will hardly matter to my sleep-deprived brain.)
