Workplace Life Insurance: Is It Enough? If you’re a full-time worker in the U.S. today, there’s a good chance you’re taking advantage of a life insurance benefit offered by your employer. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that 72 percent of full-time, private-industry workers across the country had access to life insurance benefits. And among those who had access, the vast majority—98 percent—took advantage of the benefit.
