Millennials And The 2016 Election In the 2012 general election, The Economist gave President Obama a very begrudging endorsement, saying America could do better than the sitting president. I remembered the endorsement because it reflected my sentiments more than any other at the time- I felt our country deserved better, and that there must be superior candidates. Or the current candidates are not half as intelligent, thoughtful or as honorable as President Obama and Governor Romney. How far have we fallen in four years? According to recent polls, quite far. Most people have serious reservations about any of the main candidates being president.
