Opportunities For Women To Impact The Environmental Movement Global warming is a hot topic in 2015 with the upcoming climate talks in Paris. In fact, according to a recent article in The Guardian, failure of these talks will mean ?irreversible global warming and kissing goodbye to sustainable development goals.? Women need to take a larger role in this conversation. Currently, only 12% of the millions of jobs in the green energy industry are held by women. There is a huge opportunity for women to step up, not only due to the lack of representation but because there are many avenues open to women in the environmental field.
