Why You Should Hold On Tight To Baby Boomers At Work When is the last time you read a job posting that didn't appear to be written for a younger employee? Most likely it's been a while, as most employers are in search of young talent these days. I'm advising my clients to move in the opposite direction. I tell them to do whatever they can to hang onto their experienced workers and to bring more people into the organization that have wisdom on their side. Why? Because it's cheaper to keep on more expensive people who have experience and because these people get more work done. Now before you start sending me hate emails, let me explain.
