What Marketers Can Do Today To Improve Their Relationship With IT Understanding how to leverage IT to drive business results is a top priority for many marketers. Just 10 years ago, the primary internal relationships were sales or finance. Today, the CMO-CIO relationship has become more critical as the marketer’s ability to understand and communicate with consumers is largely driven by technology. To identify what marketers can do – and should do – to better leverage technology, and better leverage their relationship with internal technology partners, I spoke with Andrew Barr Brunger, Head of Global Consumer Strategy, User Experience and Design for Citibank.
