Formula One's New Female Role Models When Susie Wolff drove in a practice session at the 2014 British Grand Prix she became the first woman in 22 years to take part in a Formula One weekend. Last year Wolff stepped down from her role at Williams but instead of becoming just another retired driver, her popularity has accelerated and she is putting it to good use.
