Don't Leave it to Beaver: Financial Lessons Baby Boomers Can Learn from Millennials As a generation, Baby Boomers can claim near-heroic wealth accumulation efforts, but we Boomers have also retained unwelcome debt by way of credit cards and refinanced mortgages. In thinking back to my youth, I'm often reminded of a "Leave it to Beaver" episode, which contains a perfect snapshot of our current financial state. The episode also dictates that our past and our future (via our offspring) can guide us toward sound money management decisions (if we listen).
