Women Claim European Board Seats : Hold The Celebrations First, the good news. European boardrooms are progressing on all aspects of diversity. Today more than 20% of directors on large European company boards are women, up from 15.6% two years ago, and from just 8% in 2004. Nearly one-third of directors (32.2%) are non-nationals, whereas in 2006 the number was 22.7%.
